Privacy Policy

Updated June 6, 2026

MAX (“we”, “us”, “our”) cares about your privacy. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit maxautomation.com or contact us, why we do so, how long we keep it, who has access to it and what rights you have. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish data protection legislation.

1. Data controller

The data controller responsible for processing your personal data is: MAX. Company type: Sole proprietorship. Address: Storgatan 24, 111 51 Stockholm, Sweden. Email: hello@maxautomation.com. Phone: +46 8 410 12 30.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect data that you provide to us yourself when you send a message via our contact form or directly to us by email, phone or social media (we then collect: name, email address, phone number and the contents of your message), or book a time or service with us (we then also collect: information about the service you book and any special requests). We use Framer Analytics for anonymous visitor statistics. Framer Analytics uses no cookies and does not collect data that can identify you as a visitor. Otherwise, the website uses no cookies for tracking, analytics or marketing.

3. Why we process your data (purpose and legal basis)

We process your personal data to respond to enquiries and communicate with you, and to meet the requirements of the Accounting Act. Legal basis: legitimate interest (being able to reply to you when you get in touch) and legal obligation.

4. How long we keep your data

Enquiries via the contact form or email: deleted when the matter is closed, and no later than 12 months. Records covered by the Accounting Act (e.g. invoices): kept for seven years as required by law. Other data: deleted when no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.

5. Who has access to your data (recipients)

We never sell your personal data. To run the business we use the following providers who process data on our behalf (data processors): Framer B.V. (Netherlands) — provides the platform on which the website is published; MAX (Sweden) — responsible for the operation, maintenance and management of the website. We may also disclose data to authorities if we are legally required to do so.

6. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA

We and our data processors normally process your data within the EU/EEA. If any transfer to a third country were to occur, we ensure that the protection matches the requirements of the GDPR through the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or another approved safeguard.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights: right to information (to know how we process your data — this policy); right of access (to receive a copy of the data we hold about you); right to rectification (to have inaccurate data corrected); right to erasure, “the right to be forgotten” (to have your data deleted when it is no longer needed); right to restriction (to limit how we process your data); right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest; right to data portability (to receive your data in a structured format); right to withdraw consent (if we process data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time — withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn). To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@maxautomation.com. We will respond to your request without undue delay, and within one month at the latest.

8. Children and young people

The website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If a guardian discovers that their child has provided personal data to us, contact us at hello@maxautomation.com and we will delete the data.

9. Right to complain to a supervisory authority

If you believe we are processing your personal data in breach of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY): imy.se | phone 08-657 61 00.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. The website runs on Framer, which holds relevant security certifications (ISO 27001 and SOC 2). All traffic to the website is encrypted via HTTPS.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

We may update this privacy policy. The latest version is always published at maxautomation.com/privacy. For significant changes we will give notice via the website.
